Compact, robust and a high quality point cloud. The N-Series delivers all you need for the industrial automation.

The Ensenso N series is specially designed for use in harsh environmental conditions. Due to its compact design, the N-series is equally suitable for the space-saving stationary or mobile use on a robot arm for the 3D detection of moving and static objects. The integrated projector projects a high-contrast texture onto the object to be imaged, even under difficult lighting conditions, by means of a pattern mask with a random dot pattern, thus supplementing the structures that are not or only weakly present on its surface. All cameras are pre-calibrated and therefore easy to set up.

Suitable for industrial use

Due to the screwable GPIO connectors for trigger and flash, all models are also suitable for industrial use. For particularly high demands on robustness, both Ensenso N30 and Ensenso N40 3D camera series are available with IP65/67 protection class and are thus protected against dirt, dust, splash water or cleaning agents.

For the highest demands - the N30 series

The aluminum housing of the N30 models ensures optimum heat dissipation of the electronic components and thus stable light output even under extreme environmental conditions. This ensures consistently high quality and robustness of the 3D data.

The metal construction also allows very flexible and robust mounting of the CMOS sensors with vergence angles from 2° to 10°, making application scenarios with very short object distances feasible.

N35 / N36 with Flex View Technology

Compared to the N30 / N31, which can be used with single shot technology for very fast acquisition times even with moving objects, the N35 / N36 is equipped with the innovative Flex View technology. This is ideal for applications where high accuracy and detail are required. High quality point clouds can be generated even on difficult surfaces.

Who has not already experienced this: the new piece of furniture is just waiting to be assembled. You put the parts into order, look into the assembly instructions and… it takes longer than expected!

Scientists at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) have developed a robot that can independently assemble the individual components of a chair without interruption. The robot consists of an Ensenso N35 3D camera and two robot arms equipped with grippers for picking up objects.
