Thin sheet metal parts are sometimes delivered by the thousands in KLTs or pallet boxes. For subsequent processes such as machining or assembly, single sheets must now be fed in the correct position. In this application, highly polished and freshly machined milled parts are removed from a 600x400x300mm KLT. An UR robot works here with our C series mobile on the robot flange together with the gripper.
For an automated assembly line, highly polished rotors had to be removed from a pallet bin. The parts are about the size of a fist and lie chaotically in the bin. Mikado finds the parts, checks for suitable gripping points and, in this case, moves a Kuka robot through the cell fully checked of collision by integrated path planning. There are two removal bays and the camera is moved back and forth using a linear axis.

Scientists at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) have developed a robot that can independently assemble the individual components of a chair without interruption. The robot consists of an Ensenso N35 3D camera and two robot arms equipped with grippers for picking up objects.
"Lean and cost-efficient" were the key themes for this automated machine feeder. With our Mikado Find and a robot, parts are gripped directly from the conveyor belt and fed for processing. The overall design is characterized by an excellent price-performance ratio, among other things.

Description and purpose: We use rapidmail to send newsletters. The provider is rapidmail GmbH, Wentzingerstraße 21, 79106 Freiburg, Germany.
